Membership Categories
Whether you are a Middle School, High School, or College Teacher or even a student persuing a career in Speech and Theatre education, we have a membership level just for you. Please review the various levels available to new and current members of STAM.
All membership levels receive an annual directory, a copy of the annual Journal of Speech and Theatre Association of Missouri, information on the fall conference, access to the association's correspondence, voting privileges, the opportunity to apply for and/or receive awards, grants, and scholoarships and advocacy. Current and up-to-date members also receive complimentary access to the "member resources" section of our website.
*Membership is only good for one year and must be renewed annually.
Levels
REGULAR ($35) This is the standard level of membership
RETIRED ($20) Reserved for individuals who are retired from their full-time professional speech and theatre activities.
STUDENT ($20) Reserved for individuals who are enrolled at least half-time in an educational institution.
SUSTAINING ($70) This is the standard membership category, but it includes at $35 contribution to the STAM scholarship fund.
EMERITUS ($0) This category is for past recipients of the Emeritus Award. There is no fee for this level of membership.
INSTITUTIONAL ($100) Generally intended for departments, schools, or companies - this membership allows for one professional and one student to act as members at the conference during the year.
LIFE ($400) This category allows the membrer to receive membership privileges for as long as he/she desires to be affiliated with STAM. The fee may be paid in four installments of $100.
