Each year, STAM hosts our annual Fall Conference. This event, usually hosted in September, provides STAM members the opportunity to come together with other professionals in their field and spend several days collaborating, learning, and celebrating. The Conference features dozens of workshops for every level of professional, from middle school educators to university level staff, from debate coaches to technical theatre specialists. Every conference attendee has the opportunity to attend six different workshops in addition to the keynote address and other programs.
Beyond the workshops, the Conference also features collaboration time for professionals to meet with others in their speciality area and work to solve common problems. This is especially valuable for educators in small programs, where they are often the only person in their building or district. Additionally, our membership celebrates the accomplishments of both the organization and individuals over the past year at the annual banquet. During this celebration, many awards are presented and individuals honored.
This event is seen by many as the unofficial start of the speech & theatre season in Missouri - and we hope you will join us this year!
